How To Qualify For The Booster Club Scholarship
SENIORS DUES MUST BE PAID & 4 EVENTS BY 4/01/23
The Local Scholarship application is available in December 2022. This application MUST be completed and TURNED IN ON TIME.
Remember, this is yet another unpredicted year with COVID-19. It is suggested to complete your 4 Booster events as early in the school year as possible.
In order to qualify for the scholarship your senior year, each cadet must do ALL of the following:
- Pay Your Dues Each Year
- Be an Active Participant Your Senior Year
- Participate in at least 4 Booster Club Activities or Fundraisers Each Year
- Complete the Local Scholarship Application Your Senior Year
UNDERCLASSMEN DUES MUST BE PAID & 4 EVENTS BY 6/30/23
The underclassmen deadline to pay your dues and have all 4 of your Booster Events completed is 6/30/23 (2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR).

Operation Yellow Ribbon Cookie Collection Now - No End Date
Our unit supports Yellow Ribbon & our troops overseas. Drop off prepackaged cookies, treats, and toiletries to send to our Troops overseas. The drop off site is Family Jewelers on Route 70, Marlton. Your cadet does not need to wear their uniform, but you need to send a picture to us for a booster credit to info@cherokeehsnjrotc.com
Cadets can earn 1 Booster Credit for participating.

We need about 4 to 8 cadets and 2 parents to assist in collecting money, helping the kids with games and someone taking donations.
Cadets will receive 1 Booster Credit and Volunteer Hours for event.
Parent(s)/Guardians can receive 1 Booster Credit for their cadet for volunteering.

Volunteer For The Car Wash/Pantry Collection, 10/8/22
We are having our first car wash with food pantry donation collection on

Sell An Ad For Our Drill Meet Ad Book, DUE 9/30/22
Cherokee High School NJROTC'S drill meet is the first meet of the year. Several area schools attend Cherokee to demonstrate their skills. It's an excellent event & the cadets do an amazing job!
Sell an ad to a local business to be included in our annual ad book or purchase a family/friend shout out for your cadet.
Cadets can earn 1 Booster Credit for selling/purchasing an ad or shoutout.

Volunteer for Harvest Fest, 9/24/22
Our tent will be located at the corner of South Locust & Main Street.
Parent/Guardian & Cadet Volunteers are needed.
Cadets can sign up in the JROTC classroom.

We need AT LEAST 5 adults/shift.
Shifts include set-up 8:00 – 12:00; 12:00-16:30 clean up
Cadets can earn 1 booster credit and volunteer hours.
